Germany vs Switzerland : predictions and preview, where to watch

Switzerland will go against Germany in UEFA Nations League action on Sunday (kick-off: 8.45pm CEST/7.45pm BST/2.45pm ET)

where to watch :

you can watch the official match on sky sports in England or TF1 in France

Team news :

Joshua Kimmich, Leon Goretzka, Manuel Neuer, Serge Gnabry, Lukas Klostermann and Marcel Halstenberg are all missing due to their involvement in the latter stages of the Champions League, although Bayern’s Niklas Sule and Leroy Sane plus PSG duo Thilo Kehrer and Julian Draxler are included.

Xherdan Shaqiri, Fabian Schar, Remo Freuler, Denis Zakaria, Admir Mehmedi and Cedric Itten are all absent due to injury, while Edimilson Fernandes is in quarantine.

preview :

Germany are now unbeaten in six games, though should have made it four consecutive wins were it not for the late Spanish equaliser. The Germans have lost only one of their previous nine competitive fixtures, in a 4-2 defeat to the Netherlands last September

Switzerland's loss to Ukraine was a first defeat in four games, following three wins on the bounce towards the end of last year. Nonetheless, it means that the Nati have won just once away in their last six outings, including their Nations League finals defeats to Portugal and England

Predictions :

With a bigger squad to call upon, Germany look well worth the odds to extend their winning streak on the road to five in a row when they face a weakened Switzerland outfit.
