Escaped tiger is spotted in Knoxville, Tennessee
A wild tiger escaped after being spotted in southeast Knoxville, Tennessee
All the tigers at Knoxville Zoo are accounted for, according to zoo spokeswoman Tina Rolen. The zoo has not been involved in the search, she added
KCSO said multiple agencies, including TWRA and KPD’s Animal Control
Unit, are working to find the tiger. Officials said they're also working
with Tiger Haven, a nonprofit providing a sanctuary for big cats in
Roane County.
There is no word where the tiger came from or how it got loose but anyone who may have information on a missing Tiger is asked to call the sheriff's office at 865-215-2243.
