J. D. Davis will not play against the Marlins
The Mets and Marlins are both facing quick turnarounds with Monday's starting at 1:10 p.m. ET with J. D. Davis not being in the Mets lineup after he Left the second game of a doubleheader against the Yankees on Sunday due to a left hip issue
It does not appear the injury is serious (despite Davis' off-day on Monday) and he should be fine going forward.
Luis Guillorme will cover third base while Davis rests up.
